Warren Exchange began as a neighborhood coin and precious-metals shop in 2009 and grew into one of Rhode Island's most interesting places to buy and sell.

How the Monkey Landed in Warren

Warren Exchange is located right on Main Street in Warren, Rhode Island - the smallest town in the smallest state. It began as a coin and cash-for-gold shop and grew from there.

Today, everything from tangled jewelry and old coins to watches, antiques, collectibles, and entire estates passes through our doors. We may not recognize every mystery item immediately - but after years in the business, we have built a trusted network of specialists. If we do not know, chances are we know someone who does.

Zippy, our space monkey, landed at the shop in 2010 and has been welcoming treasure hunters ever since.

Selling family belongings can feel uncertain, especially when you do not know what they are worth. Tara takes the time to sort, test, and explain what she finds so you can understand the offer and make your own decision.

Sometimes the best advice is to sell - and sometimes Tara may tell you that an item is worth keeping.

Our approach is straightforward:

  • We test and explain items in plain language
  • We welcome small amounts and entire collections
  • We never expect you to know the terminology
  • Broken, tangled and unsorted items are welcome

Warren Exchange is a woman-owned local business. We have sold online since 2001 and welcomed customers to our Warren storefront since 2009.

We are not a pop-up buyer or a temporary hotel show. We are part of your community, and our storefront gives you a real local place to visit, ask questions and return to.
