Do Not Sort the Collection First
The watch you almost leave behind may be the one we need to examine.
Most of us check the time on an Apple Watch or an iPhone now - I know I do. But the older watches tucked away in drawers and jewelry boxes can still have value.
Some watches are collectible. Some pocket-watch and wristwatch cases or bands may be made from gold, gold-filled metal, or sterling silver. Others may have value because of the maker, model, age, movement, design, rarity, or parts.
Old, Broken, Tangled, or Forgotten - Bring It All.
You do not need to know the brand, the age, the metal, or whether the watch works. That is what we will help determine.
Bring These In
- Pocket watches
- Vintage wristwatches
- Men's and women's watches
- Gold, gold-filled, and sterling-silver watches
- Mechanical and automatic watches
- Wind-up and battery-powered watches

- Broken, damaged, or nonworking watches
- Complete collections and single watches
Please Do Not Prepare Them
- Do not throw away broken watches.A nonworking watch may still have value.
- Do not remove the backs.Opening a watch incorrectly can cause damage.
- Do not polish old cases.Polishing can remove original finish and details.
- Do not separate bands or parts.Bring loose pieces, boxes, paperwork, and service records too.
- Do not worry about batteries. We can examine a watch even if it is not currently running.

Why Warren Exchange
Warren Exchange has served the community from our Warren, Rhode Island storefront since 2009, with online sales experience dating to 2001. We buy watches, jewelry, coins, silver, antiques, collectibles, and the unexpected items found in estates, attics, basements, and drawers.
Not every vintage watch is valuable. Value varies based on maker, model, movement, originality, condition, materials, demand, completeness, and the market at the time of evaluation. Gold-filled material is not solid gold, and we describe it separately.
